DC Drives

Morgan provides brushes and holders for traditional DC drive mill motors.

VFD Motors

Variable frequency drive (VFD) motors are prone to bearing failure due to stray shaft currents travelling through the bearing causing pitting, fluting and eventual damage.

Morgan has the solution: AEGIS® shaft grounding brushes which provide effective electrical protection of bearings.

Using proprietary Electron Transport Technology™, the conductive microfibers inside the AEGIS® SGR provide the path of least resistance for damaging shaft currents. This prevents electrical damage to motor bearings and dramatically extends motor life.
